Grow your Business – Part 4
As a small business we often find it difficult to find way to get new clients, we have created a working list of our ideas and will share them a few at a time.
- Take out an ad out in a local newspaper. This may not be doable on every budget, but get to know the folks at the local paper (daily/weekly) and ask them to contact you when they need a space filled, you can often get some space a discount.
- Participate in a trade show. Attending a trade show can be a great way to meet potential clients, both those visiting the trade show and those with booths, take some time to meet the vendors around you. Get pens made up with your logo and contact info on them.
This is a cheap and easy way to market yourself. You can get pens with your logo and info on them for as low as $0.30 each (the more you buy the cheaper). Pens are a great give away especially for business that have a point of sale area, how many times do you take that pen home with you? - Start a blog. Starting a blog is a great way to keep content live and changing on your website. It is also a great way to establish you as an authority on your industry.
- Submit tutorials or how-to’s to websites. If you have found a better or easier way to do something in your industry share it!
